QR codes are super popular these days. However, it's still important to give a few minutes of thought on how to effectively promote your brand new QR code.

Simply printing it out and posting it on a wall won't get you the engagement you want! Here's a few handy tips on how to promote your QR code for maximum use:

Tell your customers what the QR code is for.

It sounds like a no-brainer, but many businesses forget to be clear about this! If your customer knows exactly what your QR code can give them, they'll be more open to putting in the effort to scan your code. Don't assume that people will understand what a QR code on a poster does--make it obvious!

Make sure it's sized correctly.

A QR code that is too small may give your customers problems if their smartphone camera can't read it well. If you plan to post your QR code somewhere that your customers can't easily get to, make sure to print it big enough for their phones to see!
