The firm's founder, Jack F. Shorstein, began the practice of public accounting in 1959 in Jacksonville. Jack was joined by his brother Bud in 1963. Since that time, audit clients have included manufacturers, wholesalers, self-insurance funds, non-profit organizations, retirement plans, investment pools, and the City of Jacksonville. The firm's tax, accounting and consulting clients are representative of a variety of different professions and businesses, from medicine and law to restaurants and manufacturing.
