What is Cash on Order?

A payment term whereby the customer pays at the time the order is placed for a specific good or service. This is sometimes referred to as "payment in advance".

When the payment is made the seller is obligated to deliver the goods or services, and the buyer is obligated to accept them since the payment was already made.
