Change up your workplace<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Did you know where you work from matters? It also has a direct effect on your <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/karstenstrauss\/2016\/08\/30\/where-do-workers-feel-most-productive-hint-its-not-in-the-office\/#1fc660766c4e\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">productivity levels<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you feel like you have a terrible case of writer\u2019s block, try changing up your workplace. Try the kitchen, conference room, venture outside &#8211; see what place works best for you. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Contrary to common misconception, most people are <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifehack.org\/456643\/most-employees-are-more-productive-when-they-work-somewhere-other-than-the-office\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">more productive<\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> when they work from somewhere else than the office. People have reported <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fewer<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> distractions and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">higher<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> productivity when working from home.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"tip_box green\" style=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/hbr.org\/2014\/01\/to-raise-productivity-let-more-employees-work-from-home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Instead, we found that people working from home completed 13.5% more calls than the staff in the office did. They also quit at half the rate of people in the office\u2014way beyond what we anticipated. And predictably, at-home workers reported much higher job satisfaction<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you\u2019re unsure about your productivity levels and that you\u2019d still get distracter, know there are tools to help you monitor yourself. From <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/toggl.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">toggl<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/desktime.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">desktime<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, there are a lot of different ways you can make sure you\u2019re on the right track.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Putting it all together <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With all that being said, basic tips still apply: be sure to drink plenty of water, focus on what you eat, take a break here and there, and finally, get quality sleep.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you\u2019re ever feeling groggy at work &#8211; it\u2019s probably because you didn\u2019t get enough sleep. So, start from there. Try to get 7-8 hours of sleep on average, and after that start incorporating the above tips. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remember: <strong>health is the most important thing we\u2019ve got.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Without it, we\u2019re nothing.
