The score shows you, in simple terms and with the help of graphs, how established you are on the social network. In LinkedIn’s words the social selling score is defined in the following way:

“Your Social Selling Index (SSI) measures how effective you are at establishing your professional brand, finding the right people, engaging with insights, and building relationships. It is updated daily.”

The score currently takes four categories into account:
